Hi, I actually researched Jessica's email and she got me through it. Thanks for replying. I think that picture totally depicts my situation. I told my colleagues in the organization, that the reason he is smiling is because he knows the contents of every drawer and box and thus is indispensible and that the job of an archivist is to make the locations of the contents available to all. I am about to be come much more active on this list. Thanks again.

Hi Christine, Can you tell me how to add a photo to my id. I uploaded it but it went into the photo group instead of as my identifying photo. Thanks, Laura

Accreditation of Graduate Programs by SAA

For those of you not on the Archives and Archivists listserv, there has been quite a bit of discussion about getting SAA to give accreditation to graduate programs. Most job descriptions (depending on the job) will request that an archivist have an ALA Accredited Masters degree in Library Science/Information Studies. The Resource Wiki is up!

If you haven't seen it yet the resource wiki is up and running. The link is located in the Resource box on the left side of the main page. Anyone can post or edit pages on the wiki and I've started it by creating a forms page where we can post example forms for different needs. Please feel free to create new pages and add any resources or content that you feel would be useful to the lone arranger community.
