Accreditation of Graduate Programs by SAA

For those of you not on the Archives and Archivists listserv, there has been quite a bit of discussion about getting SAA to give accreditation to graduate programs. Most job descriptions (depending on the job) will request that an archivist have an ALA Accredited Masters degree in Library Science/Information Studies. Boston-based meet up group establishing

I've just created a Google Group that goes beyond the scope of Lone Arrangers for the Boston-area. This group is the latest version of "Boston Archivist Group," aka BAG- that existed a few years ago and was so folks could get together in between NEA meetings. The drive-by drop-off

I work part-time here at WWC, and at AS, a private boarding high school. Fortunately, the two institutions have a semi-shared history and wonderful collections and working environments, otherwise I'd turn this blog into a whine-fest. Lone Arrangers Roundtable Meeting and Dinner at SAA - Don't Miss Either!
